Personlity:Karen has never thought highly of herself because of her rough and traumatic childhood, she constantly strives to be a better person. Karen has an upbeat and flirtatious attitude, which really helps with her profession. She enjoys life and all that comes with it, Karen is happy to drink, love and have a lot of fun whilst doing so!

However, despite this carefree attitude Karen adores her loved ones and all too often takes on a mother-like role to protect them. She is all too happy to offer advice and enjoys listening to people to ease their worries.

Karen has very strong human morals because of her strict religious upbringing. She prefers not to know people's professions or the petty crimes they may have committed as it doesn’t concern her so much. Instead of a disregard of such small misdeeds, she can't stand the sort of wrong-doings that bring about misery and hurt, such as a husband committing adultery again his wife for example.

Despite her terrible past and a job of questionable nature Karen is likely to be one of the nicest women anyone could hope to meet. She's supportive and loving with a strong, powerful, streak. She would give up her life for someone she loved and sacrifices her own true feelings for so that she doesn’t cause trouble.
Background: Karen was born in Mirande; Jambe, a hard city to live in, some say. Her father left her mother when Karen was born and they struggled to survive with Karen's mother working very hard to earn enough for the two of them to have enough to stay alive. Karen's mother turned to religion in these hard times and was increasingly strict with her daughter to the point of beating her when Karen commit very minor sins. Karen's popularity with the sailors that called into port did not help matters as her mother accused Karen of selling herself to these men when she herself tried so hard to earn a living through a reputable occupation.

Karen lived at home, withstanding all of her mother's harsh behaviour up until the point where she died. Karen loved her mother despite the way she acted towards her and grieved to see her pass away...

Now an orphan and with no education Karen found it very difficult to find work, in the end she settled into a job in a bath house. Despite the rumours that circulate about the job, she enjoys it a great deal. She feels safe and genuinely likes talking to her clients.

With the Navy crackdown on the seas Karen worries that a lot of her regular cliental (most of whom she believes may be pirates or of a similar nature) may stop coming to visit her. Even though she relies on the money that they pay her, more than anything, she would be upset to say good-bye to the friends she's made.
